Gallery 169 is pleased to host the photographs of Kim Acquaro of the local dogs of Santa Monica & Rustic Canyon. Kim Acquaro is a neighbor, dog lover and came up with the idea of honoring our wonderful, loyal, loving four legged friends by eternalizing them in her stunning photographs.

Kim is an academy award-nominated, Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and photojournalist. Acquaro’s photojournalism has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post Magazine, TIME Magazine, Mother Jones and many international publication. She was awarded the Pew Fellowship in International Journalism for her work in Rwanda.
