Artist’s Opening Reception

Saturday May 4th, 2019, 5-8 pm

Gallery 169 is pleased to host the photographs of Kim Acquaro of the local dogs of Santa Monica & Rustic Canyon. Kim Acquaro is a neighbor, dog lover  and came up with the idea of honoring our wonderful, loyal, loving four legged friends by eternalizing them in her stunning photographs.

Kim is an academy award-nominated, Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and photojournalist. Acquaro’s photojournalism has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post Magazine, TIME Magazine, Mother Jones and many international publications. She was awarded the Pew Fellowship in International Journalism for her work in Rwanda.

The Photography Exhibit will benefit: The Forgotten Dog Rescue.

Thank you to Collar & Leash located in the Pacific Palisades for all their support. Also, there will be adoptable dogs in attendance during the opening.

If you can, please contribute to our Dog Food Drive by bringing cans of wet food and dog treats (no rawhide please!) for small dogs!

We hope you enjoy the show.

(complimentary valet parking available the night of the opening)

Show run thru June 10th
